THE VW T5 RELOADED!
The hundred times installed and proven VW sound upgrade for all VW T5 transporters, multivans and campers, now in the 2nd development stage, soon available. The newly developed plug and play tweeter & midrange unit got a funda-mental upgrade donated: the newly developed and larger, 20 mm fabric dome tweeter is now framed by an extremely filigree touch protection. This brings maximum output and a significant improvement in omnidirectional characteristics. The larger dome achieves a higher efficiency and allows a lower crossover frequency, this is noticeable in fine dynamics and resolution. The newly developed 50 mm paper cone midrange driver with the powerful neodymium magnet was provided with a larger voicecoil. Now it generates significantly more sound pressure level. The new tweeter & midrange unit is more resilient and brings some extra performance in terms of dynamics, fine detail and omnidirectional charac-teristics. In combination with the large 200 mm long-stroke woofer with the proven glass fiber paper diaphragm and the 3 ohms impedance a true sound upgrade for sound gourmets! The powerful ferrite magnet with the large core bore and the polished T-yoke provides the necessary propulsion and kick bass and the necessary cooling. The precision-fit, fiberglass-reinforced plastic basket can be mounted on the orginal mounting points and allows the attachment of the original rubber sound guide for optimal docking to the door panel. The set was equipped with newly tuned, high quality, crossovers and of course has the VW-specific connector plugs, so an easy and also retrofittable installation is possible! 3-way plug and play sound upgrade set consisting of a 200 mm (8") woofer with 2-layer fiberglass paper diaphragm, fiberglass-reinforced plastic basket, precision-fit connec-tors, sealing flange on the back of the basket. Extremely strong ferrite magnet with large core bore and gloss turned T-yoke. Long-stroke surrounding with heavy-duty voice coil and permanently elastic spider for powerful bass. Newly designed tweeter/midrange unit consisting of larger, 20 mm fabric dome tweeter with SPL stable 50 mm paper cone midrange driver with strong neodymium magnet and enlarged voicecoil. Redesigned touch guard for significantly more output and improved omnidi-rectional characteristics. 90 W music power handling, 3 ohms impedance for high efficiency even on OEM headunits, 93 dB characteristic sound pressure level, incl. high-quality cabinet crossovers for tweeter / midrange unit with level reduction (0dB & -3dB) and cable crossovers for woofers.
